The LT Gen V High Pressure Fuel Pump Installation Tool is designed to help you accurately determine when the camshaft is at its base circle before installing your LT high pressure fuel pump. Using this tool is essential to prevent damage to the fuel pump plunger rod, which could bend or unevenly apply pressure inside the pump, which can damage the internal sealing areas, if this tool is not used. Once the tool’s flange is flush with the valley pan, you know it’s safe to proceed with pump installation. The built-in handle allows for quick and easy placement and removal. Precision-machined in Wichita, Kansas, from 6061-T6, USA produced billet aluminum.
