Pushrod Length Checker - 6.800" - 7.800"

Product Details

  • Used to determine correct pushrod length
  • Adjustable from 6.800" to 7.800"
  • Ideal for LS and LT engine builds
  • Includes: 1 pushrod length checking tool

Instructions

  1. Make sure the lifter is on the base circle of the camshaft.
  2. Torque the rocker arm to specification. Stock LS rocker arms are typically 22 ft lbs.
  3. Rotate the checking tool until you reach zero lifter preload.
  4. Read the length shown on the tool, then add the required lifter preload to determine the correct pushrod length.

For LS7 style lifters, we recommend .070" to .100" preload.

Example: If the tool measures 7.330" at zero preload and you are using .070" preload, the correct pushrod length is 7.400" (7.330" + .070" = 7.400").
