From Pits to Purpose: Kegan and Rachel Built a Drift Life Together

From Pits to Purpose: Kegan and Rachel Built a Drift Life Together

Drifting isn’t just what happens on track.
It’s what happens in the pits. On the road. In the hard seasons.

Kegan Leep’s 350Z is loud, fast, and built to be driven.

But the real story is the team behind it.

Meet Kegan & Rachel!

From Grand Rapids, Michigan, Kegan has had motorsports baked into his life from the beginning. He started racing BMX as a kid before drifting became the new obsession.

Rachel is the anchor and the teammate. Track days, travel days, and everything in between, she’s part of the program, not just along for the ride.

In late 2022, their life got hit with a curveball that made racing feel small. Rachel was diagnosed with high-risk colon cancer. They didn’t fold. They fought. They stayed positive. They kept moving forward #RachelStrong

Now they’re back doing what they love, louder and more determined than ever.

The Car That Carries the Story

Kegan’s weapon of choice is a 2003 Nissan 350Z, LS swapped and supercharged, built for repeat laps and real seat time. This is their fifth season with the same chassis, and it shows.

 This isn’t a one-time flex. It’s a program.

Build Snapshot

This 2003 Nissan 350Z is powered by a 6.0L LS swap and complimented with an LSA supercharger + Wegner Lid setup. And to support this beast?
Kegan says "I Basically just have the ICT Billet catalog on the car!"

The wide body setup glides beautifully with the Kansei Roku Wheels, Silvers Suspension & Wisefab Angle Kit combination. Meanwhile, the Dragon Fire Red wrap makes it pop on the track while it's running Renegade Racing Fuels.

Kegan’s mindset is simple: if you build it, drive it.
“If you ain't driving it, well, you're just wasting your time.”

 What Sets This One Apart?

A lot of builds look good online.
Not all of them survive real use.

This one does, because it’s built with intention. Kegan isn’t chasing hype. He’s chasing consistency. Suspension, balance, setup, seat time. The stuff that earns wins, and keeps you coming back. And the best part? Their approach makes drifting feel accessible.

You don’t need a perfect car to start. You need a plan, good people, and the willingness to learn. That’s what Kegan and Rachel represent.

Where ICT Billet Fits In

He’s the first to tell new builders not to reinvent the wheel.
Keep it simple. Use proven solutions.
Build it right, then go drive!

When Kegan talks about ICT Billet, he talks about trust.
About parts that look good AND hold up when the car gets used & abused.

And then he talks about the people.
The support, the information, and the personality behind the name.
