From Garage to Burnout Box: This LS C10 Knows About Real Seat Time

Burnout builds don’t live easy lives. Repeated heat cycles, violent launches, long idle times, and zero mercy.

Bridget Blankinship’s 1984 C10 wasn’t built to just sit pretty.

It was built to survive abuse, get fixed, and go again.

If you’re building an LS swap that’s meant to be driven hard, not babied,
this build tells you exactly what matters.

Meet Bridget Blankinship! (a.k.a. @boostedbrat_)

Burnout truck builder. Content creator. Unapologetically bold.

This C10 isn’t a garage queen. It’s a burnout truck that sees real seat time! From the hot pink accents to the cowprint details, everything about this truck is intentional.
Loud, aggressive, and impossible to miss.

At the heart of the build is an all-aluminum 5.3L L33 LS, boosted by Twin 62/62mm VS Racing Turbos and set up to live its life sideways at burnout events across the country. Let's break down what it takes to make it happen.
────────

Engine & Valvetrain

Under the hood, the combination is all about durability and response

The 5.3L is partnered with CNC ported & polished 243 cylinder heads as well as a burnout-focused Michigan Motorsports Stage 3 Burnout Camshaft. This combo is rounded off with Johnson 2116 hydraulic roller lifters.

Wrapping up the engine & valvetrain, Bridget is running a lifter valley cover, valve covers, and a steamport kit all from ICT Billet!

Forced Induction & Intake

"My build is its own personality!"

"As you can see, it definitely stands out and has its own style with all the hot pink and cowprint"

-Bridget Blankinship

These hot pink turbos are the Twin 62/62mm VS Racing turbocharges behind the boost this beast carries. Supported by Motion Raceworks blow-off valves & quick-seal clamps, these turbos push boost straight to the Holley Hi-Rise lower intake manifold.

Bridget keeps this wild build cool under high performance with an 1800HP air-to-water intercooler from Shearer Fabrications in conjunction with an Intercooler water pump from Davis Craig.

Accessory Drive & Electrical

This is where we really step in to shine! Bridget leaned heavy into ICT Billet for her accessory drive solutions.

She's running our Low-Mount Alternator Relocation Bracket w/ Tensioner, our Coil Relocation Brackets, and our Battery Tray & hold-down to support her XS Power Battery.

When reliability is important in your build, you know you can count on us.

Cooling, Fuel & Engine Management

This thing has to stay cool! Bridget relies on a Meziere electric water pump & Frostbite aluminum radiator to make that happen.

She's got Bosch 210 lb/hr injectors (E85) and a MagnaFuel 750 inline fuel pump to guarantee powerful response.

And for engine management? She's running a Holley HP EFI ECU, Holley 12.3" Pro Dash & Motion Raceworks Catch Can to maintain performance.

Transmission, Drivetrain & More

Supporting the L33 LS is a built TH350 Transmission, ATI Torque Converter & Derale Transmission cooler.

And she didn't stop at the engine. She's riding smooth with an Air-ride suspension system on 22" Weld Laguna wheels. How does Bridget maintain control in the pits? The 14" Baer brake system she has installed!

Bridget shares behind-the-scenes build updates, burnout footage, and event coverage while she & her husband Brett rip around the country together! If you like tire smoke, turbo noises, and builds that don’t play it safe... She’s worth a follow!

You can find her on Instagram here.

These two have a wildly busy schedule ahead of them! They just wrapped up at Burnout Wars in Tampa & will hit the track again at Summernats USA at the Freedom Factory.

Over the spring & summer they'll tackle the Midwest and Northeast at all sorts of different events. Burnout events like Burnout Rivals, Burnout Nationals, Burnout Wars, and Guishi-Burnout Comp as well as the Ford Vs The World 15k @ Mustang Week.

They have no plans to slow down in the fall! With events like Holley LS Fest East, 1320 Ice Cream Cruise, SEMA, and plenty of more burnout competitions - Bridget & Brett have a huge year ahead of them and we're thrilled to support them.

Parts that are annoying to service don’t survive a season like this.

From grassroots burnout competitions to national events, builds like Bridget’s represent the side of the LS community that values reliability, creativity, and real seat time.

Supporting builds like this means providing parts that can handle real abuse, repeated runs, and wild setups.
