- To verify Transmission Generation, Measure input shaft bearing OUTSIDE DIAMETER
- Generation 1 = 3.937 or 100mm & Generation 2-B = 3.543 or 90mm
- Modification to transmission entails cutting/removing OEM Bellhousing and OEM front bearing cover from transmission to allow adapter plate installation
- Adapter plate will take place of front bearing cover on transmission
- Standard T56 Bellhousing will bolt to adapter plate
- Installer must verify bellhousing/adapter plate alignment is within .005" during insatllation to prevent bearing side-loading - OFFSET DOWELS MAY BE NECESSARY TO ENSURE PROPER ALIGNMENT
